Some more about me
I am a young videogame designer, eager to create experiences through videogames that surprise and impact people. I am a very creative and open-minded person, with a great interest in learning more about all aspects of videogame development. My main interests are in UX design and Level Design.
Who am I?
My name is Leyre Lopez Almanzor, I'm 20 years old and I'm studying Video Game Design in Madrid.
Since I was very young I entered the world of video games through Pokemon Pearl for Nintendo DS, and since then they have been part of my life. I dedicate myself to the videogame industry because my passion is to create experiences.
Besides videogames, I'm passionate about music, and I spend a lot of my free time singing, playing the piano and composing, as well as obviously playing videogames.
In general, whether it's through music, video games or art, being able to make something that makes someone feel, whether it's terror, sadness, calm, ambition, I think it's the most beautiful job in the world.
I want to make people feel with my video games, and make the world see that they can be much more than entertainment, they are experiences.
Games to get to know me

Tango Gameworks
Hi-Fi Rush
It is a game of action and rhythm in which everything on stage moves to the beat of the music.
The attention to detail in the design made this title one of my favourites.
What I like most about this title is the combat system and combos, which forces the player to give a twist on how to deal with the enemies depending on the rhythm of the music and the situation.
I also think that the progression system is very well done for all the mechanics included, and makes something that at first may seem frustrating, very enjoyable to play.

Eric Barone
Stardew Valley
Apart from the fact that every single thing in the game is created by a single person, Stardew Valley is a game with endless possibilities. It doesn't force the player to do anything they don't want to do, so they can focus on enjoying the part of the game they like the most, and it offers so many things to do and explore, that I consider it a game made for all types of players.
Also, like the other two titles I mentioned, it has an incredible attention to detail, making the experience much more enriching and immersive.

Supergiant Games
Hades
It wasn't enough my obsession with Greek mythology, that Hades had to come out, to make me obsessed with roguelikes on top of it.
What I like most about it, and Roguelikes in general, is to see the progression through the progress of the same map. It's very comforting to see how persistence makes you progress. This added to the wonderful narrative they have created, and again, the great attention to detail that the game has in all its aspects, makes it my favourite game of all time.
